Christmas Hideaway is a 105 m² detached house tucked into a quiet, forested neighbourhood — a perfect base for families coming to Lapland for the full festive experience. The house has a warm, Christmas atmosphere throughout: deep red sofa in the living room, christmas decoration and a cosy feel that is tailor-made for the holiday season.
Three bedrooms sleep up to 6 guests. The master bedroom has a 160 cm double bed and an 80 cm single bed; the second bedroom has two 80 cm single beds; and the third has one 80 cm single bed.
The private Finnish sauna is a real highlight — wooden benches, an electric heater and a traditional wooden bucket, ready to warm the whole group after a day out in the Arctic cold. After sauna you can go outside and "swim" in the snow. The main bathroom connects directly to the sauna and includes a shower and toilet. A separate WC adds practical convenience when the house is full.
The laundry room has a stacked washing machine and dryer, plus dedicated space to hang wet outdoor gear and clothes — a genuine bonus for families with young children exploring Lapland in winter.
The kitchen is fully equipped and opens onto a large rustic wooden dining table that seats all 6 guests comfortably. Note: the fireplace in the kitchen area is decorative and not available for guest use. The living room has a wall-mounted TV and comfortable seating.
Directly behind the house — less than 100 metres away — lies an open mire, offering an unobstructed view of the night sky and an ideal spot for northern lights watching when conditions are right. The house sits around 1 km from the main road, giving guests genuine peace and quiet, while the city centre, Santa Claus Village and the airport are all quickly reached once you're on the road.
