What is the 100% Aurora Guarantee?
Our 100% Aurora Guarantee means that if the Northern Lights don't appear during our guaranteed tours, you receive a full money-back refund. We are the only tour operator in Rovaniemi confident enough to offer this guarantee.
How long is the Northern Lights chase?
Our guided Northern Lights tours last between 4 and 12 hours depending on conditions. We don't follow fixed routes or time limits, we chase until we find clear skies and aurora activity.
What should I wear on the tours?
We recommend wearing warm base layers, a fleece mid-layer, and an insulated windproof outer layer with winter boots rated to at least −25 °C. For snowmobile and husky tours, we provide thermal suits, helmets, and gloves.
Are professional photos really included?
Yes! Every guest on our aurora tours receives high-quality professional DSLR photos of their experience at no extra cost. Our guides are trained photographers who capture the Northern Lights and your memories.
Where do tours depart from?
Most tours include hotel pickup and drop-off in central Rovaniemi. The meeting point for the group tour is at Rovakatu 19, 96200 Rovaniemi. Specific pickup details are sent after booking.
Can children join the tours?
Most tours welcome children, though some activities like snowmobiling are adults only. Check individual tour pages for age restrictions and family-friendly options.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the tour departure. After that, a cancellation fee may apply. Weather-related cancellations by us are always fully refunded.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Our guides continuously monitor weather conditions and satellite data. If conditions are unfavorable, we'll either reschedule your tour or, for guaranteed tours, issue a full refund under our Aurora Guarantee.
