Heading to the destination from your hotel, you will arrive in the middle of a peaceful Lappish forest. The traditional firewood igloo sauna is heated in advance for you to relax and enjoy the gentle steam wrapping your body. Our guide will show you how to bathe in the traditional Finnish sauna style. Loosen your body, release your strains and cool down by dipping into the icy lake water or diving into the sparkling powdery snow. Afterward, when the weather allows, in the middle of the frozen lake it is possible to observe the Northern Lights, or in summer you can enjoy the midnight sun. Gaze upon the bright clear sky full of stars and enjoy a campfire, gingerbread and hot blueberry juice.

    Arrival in the Lappish forest

    Travel from your hotel to a peaceful forest destination where the traditional firewood igloo sauna awaits.

    Relax in the pre-heated igloo sauna as gentle steam wraps around you. Enjoy the private jacuzzi and unwind in the traditional Finnish style.

    Cooling down and lake swimming

    Cool off by dipping into the icy lake water or diving into the powdery snow, the authentic Finnish way.

    Campfire, BBQ and sky gazing

    Gather around the campfire for gingerbread, hot blueberry juice and a BBQ. When conditions allow, watch the Northern Lights or enjoy the midnight sun.

    Pick-up and drop-off are available from selected hotels within 10 km of the Rovaniemi city center. Guests staying within a 5-minute walking distance will meet at the Nordic Unique Travels office.
