Whether you're looking to relax in the hot springs or catch a glimpse of the northern lights, this experience is designed to rejuvenate your senses. The resort sits on the shore of Lake Palojärvi, about 30 km from Rovaniemi. You get about an hour and a half in the spa: the hot spring, Finnish sauna, steam room, salt bath, volcanic lounge, vitality pool and outdoor jacuzzi, with the lake for a cold dip in between.
Upon arrival at Aito Igloo & Spa Resort, you'll be welcomed into the warmth of natural hot springs. Soak in the mineral-rich waters as you gaze up at the Arctic sky, letting the hot springs soothe your body and mind.
Experience the time-honored tradition of the Finnish sauna. The combination of heat, steam, and the cold Arctic air outside offers a refreshing and invigorating contrast, leaving you feeling revitalized.
The Arctic Spa Experience is perfectly timed to coincide with the optimal hours for northern lights viewing. Although sightings aren't guaranteed, you can unwind in the resort's tranquil setting and hope to catch a glimpse of the aurora borealis.

Collect your bathrobe, slippers and towel, then spend about an hour and a half in the spa: hot spring, Finnish sauna, steam room, salt bath, volcanic lounge, vitality pool and outdoor jacuzzi.
Step out into the cold air between rounds, or take a dip in the lake for the full Finnish contrast.
The evening is timed for the best aurora hours. When the sky is clear and the lights are active, watch them from the jacuzzi or the shore. Then back to Rovaniemi.

Book the 129€ option and we pick you up and bring you back from one of the pickup points in Rovaniemi, for example the Nordic Unique Travels office at Maakuntakatu 29 (next to Subway) in the city centre. Driving yourself? Book the 89€ option without pickup and meet us at Aito Igloo & Spa Resort (Seitarannantie 437, Rovaniemi).
In the evening, between about 18:00 and 21:00 depending on the date; the pickup leaves a little before the spa time. 2.5-3 hours in total, of which about 1.5 hours in the spa. Times can change with the season and availability, so check the e-mail we send after booking for your exact pickup time and place.

Maybe. The evening is timed for the best aurora hours, but sightings depend on the weather and solar activity, so they cannot be guaranteed and the Aurora Guarantee does not apply. For a guaranteed hunt, book a Northern Lights tour.
Cancelling more than 30 days before is free. The fee is 10% from 30 days, 50% from 7 days and 100% from 2 days before the tour.
