Christmas Villa is one of Rovaniemi's finest short-term properties — a 109 m² architectural villa completed in 2024, where floor-to-ceiling glass, a private Finnish sauna, and a glazed northern lights terrace come together in a setting of rare quality. Three bedrooms for up to six guests, a ski trail starting less than 50 metres from the front door, and just 4 km from Santa's Village and the airport, surrounded by Lapland forest on all sides.
From the moment you step inside, the villa makes an impression. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area stretches across the full width of the home, framed by floor-to-ceiling glass with uninterrupted forest views. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with a central island and high-quality built-in appliances — everything you need for anything from a quick breakfast to a long, leisurely dinner.
A decorative fireplace adds warmth and character to the living space (ornamental — cannot be lit). The living room also features a sofa bed that comfortably sleeps two additional guests. Standard capacity is six; upon request, the villa accommodates up to eight.
Bedrooms
The private Finnish sauna is finished to a standard you would expect of a high-end spa. Cedar benches sit beneath soft under-bench LED lighting, a glass wall opens the space visually, and a window frames the forest beyond. The adjacent wet room — clad in natural stone-effect tiles — features dual rain showers with matte black fixtures and connects directly to the sauna.
Off the living area, a glass-enclosed terrace with a large corner sofa offers one of the best seats in Rovaniemi for northern lights watching. Sheltered from the wind and facing the open sky, it turns a clear winter night into a private light show. Note: this space is not heated in winter.
